A Collection of Short StoriesZimbell House Publishing
is holding open submissions for short
stories to be featured in this upcoming collection of tales that share a
common theme: Ruins and the after effects.
In this collection, we
are looking for well-crafted stories that will tell a tale of either a
life in ruins, a society in ruins, or dig deeper and spin an
archeological tale featuring ruins. Once the story has been explained as
to the why of the ruins (how the ruins came about), we also require the end of the story(ies) to explain the After Effects. Example: The American Civil War - where the North marched through the South and left it in ruins, with the after effect being the re-building and new way of life.
Again, we are looking for well crafted tales, with characters and plots that are believable and fully developed.
Submissions of both short stories and novelette’s to this anthology are welcome, please keep in mind the minimum word count is 5.000 and the maximum word count is 20,000.
